Nanaimo Mitsubishi Luxury Giveaway

1. SPONSOR & NON-AFFILIATION This contest is presented, administered, and sponsored solely by Nanaimo Mitsubishi (the "Sponsor").

Disclaimer of Affiliation: Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre is not a sponsor, co-sponsor, host, or partner of this giveaway, and is in no way affiliated with the administration or execution of this Contest. The use of the Tigh-Na-Mara name is solely for the purpose of describing the prize being awarded.

2. ELIGIBILITY The Contest is open strictly to legal residents of Vancouver Island, British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Proof of Residency & Age: To claim any prize, the selected entrant must present a valid, government-issued photo ID to confirm their identity, age (19+), and Vancouver Island residential address. Failure to provide valid ID will result in disqualification.

  • Exclusions: Employees, representatives, and agents of Nanaimo Mitsubishi, their respective affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter.

3. CONTEST PERIOD The Contest closes on May 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received by this time to be eligible for the Grand Prize draw.

4. HOW TO ENTER

  • NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

  • To enter, visit the official contest landing page at https://contest.nanaimomitsubishi.ca/welcome and complete the secure online entry form (powered by Typeform) in its entirety.

  • Limit of one (1) entry per person/email address for the Grand Prize, unless otherwise specified through bonus entry actions on the contest page.

5. PRIZES A. Grand Prize Package: One (1) lucky winner will receive a luxury experience package to be redeemed at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort, which includes:

  • 1-Night Stay: Accommodation in a rustic suite nestled in the forest.

  • Grotto Spa Package: A rejuvenating package for two (2), featuring access to the Mineral Pool.

  • $100 Gift Card: To be used at Cedars Restaurant & Lounge.

B. Bonus Daily Giveaways: Entrants are automatically entered to win additional daily prizes simply by signing up for the main contest. Daily prizes will be announced and awarded throughout the Contest Period.

Prize Conditions & Resort Policies:

  • Credit Card Deposit: The Grand Prize winner must be 19 years of age or older and must present a valid major credit card in their own name upon check-in at the resort. This is required by the resort's policies to cover a mandatory room deposit, incidentals, damages, or any additional charges incurred during the stay. Nanaimo Mitsubishi is not responsible for covering this deposit or any subsequent charges.

  • Travel is NOT included: Travel to and from the resort, parking, incidentals, gratuities, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned above are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  • Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

  • Grand Prize: A random draw will be conducted shortly after the May 1st contest deadline from all eligible entries received.

  • Daily Prizes: Random draws will be conducted daily from the pool of current eligible entrants.

  • Selected entrants will be notified by email and/or phone within three (3) business days of the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within five (5) days, fails to provide valid ID, or fails to return the required documentation, they will forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be randomly selected.

7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE & SKILL-TESTING QUESTION To be declared a confirmed winner, the selected entrant must:

  1. Respond to the notification within the stipulated timeframe.

  2. Provide valid government-issued photo ID confirming age (19+) and Vancouver Island residency.

  3. Correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question (as required by Canadian law).

  4. Sign and return a standard Declaration and Release of Liability form.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY By entering this Contest and/or accepting any prize, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Nanaimo Mitsubishi, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, or injuries of any kind arising out of or relating to:

  • Their participation in the Contest.

  • The acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize (including any travel, property damage, personal injury, or death related thereto, including any incidents occurring at the resort property).

  • Any technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or disruptions to the Contest landing page.

9. PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Nanaimo Mitsubishi and its authorized agents for the purposes of administering the Contest and, if consent is given at the time of entry, for receiving marketing and promotional communications. Entry data is securely collected via Typeform.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS By entering, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
